Rangers bounce back after big loss

The Oakland Athletics (27-37)  hoped to sweep this four game stand against the Texas Rangers (40-25) and came out focused in game one, pounding the Rangers 14-5.  The Rangers got their revenge last night, beating back the A’s 10-6 on a three-run home run by Robinson Chirinos and home runs by Ryan Rua and Elvis Andrus.  In the win, the Rangers broke a four game losing streak to the A’s

“That was a big bounceback game for us,” Rangers manager Jeff Banister said after after the game.

The Rangers are sticking around for two more games with Sonny Gray taking the mound for the A’s tonight going against Derek Holland who gave up three home runs in his last outing-against the Mariners last Friday.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today and help cheer on your A’s.
