Rangers bounce back after big loss

The Oakland Athletics (27-37)  hoped to sweep this four game stand against the Texas Rangers (40-25) and came out focused in game one, pounding the Rangers 14-5.  The Rangers got their revenge last night, beating back the A’s 10-6 on a three-run home run by Robinson Chirinos and home runs by Ryan Rua and Elvis Andrus.  In the win, the Rangers broke a four game losing streak to the A’s

“That was a big bounceback game for us,” Rangers manager Jeff Banister said after after the game.
