Winning Streak Continues

The Oakland Athletics are on a roll and the Texas Rangers are their latest victims after beating them for the second consecutive game, 8-2 after beating them Tuesday 8-6.  In last nights game, 3B Brett Lawrie hit a first inning grand slam to help the A’s.

“I was just looking for something soft and anything up in the zone that I could hopefully put a barrel on and thankfully enough, I put some good wood on it,” Lawrie said. “It’s just good that we got a team win. That’s the biggest thing, we could put up some runs early there.”

Game three against the Rangers kicks off at 1:05 this afternoon.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today!

Kazmir still on fire

RHP Scott Kazmir had another fantastic outing yesterday delivering 111 pitches, zero walks and eight strikeouts to kick off a home stand against the Boston Red Sox. The team is currently on a three game winning streak that began in Game Two of the series with the Rangers on Tuesday.

“I feel like I’m able to throw any one of my pitches at any given time in any count,” Kazmir said. “I have a lot of confidence. I felt good today. Probably one of the best I felt this year.”

Game two of the four game stand begins tonight at 9:05 tonight.  Great seats and cheap tickets are still available!
